Elemental Embrace merges Eastern philosophies and Western treatments in its programs. The spa specializes in Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old health care system that originated in India. Guests may consult with one of the Ayurvedic physicians to custom-design a program for their needs. One of the spa's distinctive treatments is Shirodhara, which involves pouring warm, medicated oil onto the forehead, where according to Ayurvedic teaching the "third eye" is located, in order to relieve mental tension. The signature treatment, OJAS, begins with two therapists giving a synchronized abhyanga (oil) massage, the traditional precursor to a bath. Next, the spa-goer is treated to a full body steam that is followed by an exfoliation with utsadan, an exotic blend of herbs and powders. The finale to the treatment is a luxurious bath. Choices other than Ayurveda treatments include body wraps, reiki, hot stone and traditional facials, as well as colon hydrotherapy.

The spa caters to day spa clientele as well as those in residence for an extended retreat, so a visitor's stay may be as brief as an hour or as long as two weeks or more.
